In an effort to support our community between March 2, 2026 and April 6, 2026, the Garden Club of Shawnee will accept grant requests from nonprofit Shawnee organizations or groups, for support of an environmental project. To date The Shawnee Garden Club has awarded 110 grants for a total of $22,280. Grant requests will be rewarded for projects that match one or more of the club’s objectives:

              1. Promote general gardening cultural interests
              2. Beautify the community
              3. Increase awareness of environmental issues

The grant application can be downloaded here and mailed to the address below. Grants must be received by April 6, 2026 to be eligible. All applicants will be notified of the status of their grant application by April 24, 2026.

We are looking forward to this year’s group of gardeners. Each year brings new excitement to see the ideas and the designs.
